Local Roots
Our team lives around Batur, understands micro weather, village rhythm, and the best spots to enjoy sunrise.
About Our Journey
Kintamani Batur Sunrise was born from outside guide Toya Bungkah who wanted to introduce Mount Batur in a safe, warm and respectful way to nature and local culture.
Our Story
Initially we only helped family Homestay guests who wanted to climb to the Batur summit before dawn. Through word of mouth, that small journey grew into a local operator trusted by domestic and international travelers.
We maintain a simple way of working: get to know our guests individually, choose a route suited to the day's conditions, and ensure that every trip delivers direct benefits to the guides, drivers, coffee farmers, and the community surrounding the caldera.
Our team lives around Batur, understands micro weather, village rhythm, and the best spots to enjoy sunrise.
Every booking is confirmed directly, not automatically with templates, so the itinerary feels right for guests.
Our Values
Batur Sunrise is not just about photos at the summit. For us, the best journey is one that is safe, humane, and leaves a good trace.
We check weather, trail conditions, guest stamina, and equipment before chasing the best photo spots.
Our recommendations are transparent: duration, fitness level, price, and alternatives if guests come with family.
We bring back trash, follow traditional village directions, and choose partners who help protect the environment.
Guide Team
Our guides are experienced in guiding beginners, families, photographers, to solo travelers. All are trained in basic first aid and clear communication.

How We Work
We designed a simple workflow so that guests know what to expect, what to bring, and who will be accompanying them in the field.
We check hotel location, group composition, and trekking or jeep preference before suggesting tours.
Guests receive the pickup time, a packing list, the guide's contact details, and the weather forecast the night before.
Guide maintains pace, helps with documentation, and chooses comfortable rest points during the journey.
We help with hot spring options, coffee stops, or continued transfers if guests want to explore Bali longer.
Dampak Lokal
Every trip supports the small ecosystem surrounding the caldera—from drivers, breakfast stalls, and jeep owners to coffee farmers and trail maintenance crews. We believe the guest experience is enriched when the local community grows alongside us.
We work with guides and drivers from surrounding villages so travel benefits stay in Kintamani.
Part of margin is allocated for trash bags, guest education, and trail cleanliness fees.

Not selling trips we ourselves doubt to take, not forcing guests beyond safe limits, and always prioritizing good relations with the local community.
